And Sunday’s coming.

He’s 18 today! He is a friend to EVERYone, never in a bad mood, is as genuine as they come, and has a larger than life personality. He makes me better every day. It’s been an absolute privilege to watch him grow up over the last 4 years. Thanks for bringing me along for the ride.

He is one of my very favorites. 🥰 This is the fall break that almost wasn’t, and we changed (or canceled) flights 4 times within the 12 hours before we left. 🤯 Love that kid and our 3rd Marco Island fall break together. ☀️🌊⛱️

3 tough games, and they won 2 of the 3 making them 8-1 and Hoosier Conf. champs. We talked about not giving up when things get tough, doing things the right way, and fighting until the end. They are better because of this week. Unified sports changes lives… mine included. ❤️

Preach.

Senior night for flag football was pretty much the first senior event of the year. He’s loving every second. I think he had 4 touchdowns and several catches tonight. He makes me a better human every day, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. ❤️❤️❤️

His freshman season he stood outside the huddle because he didn’t want to be close to people. Amazing what a few years, and a lot of people pouring into you, can do. Without a doubt I’d tell you @Mitch_Street has played such a huge role to get that kid to where he is today.

And what a year it has been. I think Jesus taught me more in this past year than all 37 prior to that. Feeling incredibly grateful for all those who walked every day of those last 365 with me. ❤️

Because we had nothing else going on (🤯🤯), the kids wanted to add Unified Bocce to the mix. Last night was our first ever game/match/meet (maybe sometime this season we’ll learn what it’s called?!). I’d choose to hang out with this crew any day. ❤️

Started the day with a 🐭 running through my 🚗. 😱🤯🤦🏻‍♀️ Then, second college visit for this guy. Lunch of his choosing is (almost always) Cracker Barrel. 😂❤️ He’s a old soul, and I do love some Cracker Barrel. 🥰

Got a litter of 5 kittens to help with the 🐭🐭🐭 in the barn. As it turns out, it appears they much prefer twin bed swings. 😂🙄🤨

27 years. That’s a lot of breakfasts together. Always and forever the best part of my week. ❤️❤️

This memory makes me lol and fills me with joy. On a total whim, @Mitch_Street and I decided to give Unified Sports a shot. Those kids have made this program into what it is. And, this season is even more special because the crew that came in with us as freshman, are seniors! 🥰

“Hey Ricky. Mrs. Kauffman is going to do some senior pictures after school. Grab something you can wear for that.” Exhibit A. (Is this real life?!? 🤯🤯🤯 Lord have mercy. 🙄🙄🙄).

How in the world did we get here?!? Senior season, #72. Here we go! 🏈💪🏼🥰

We’ve had a GREAT summer! 🥰 He’s gone to school 2,160 days and only has 180 left. TOTAL. I’m confident he’s going to love every second, and more confident it’s going to fly by. He’s the kindest kid with the biggest heart. Have a great senior year, buddy! So very proud of you.❤️
