BREAKING: Meta has acquired Moltbook, the social network where only AI agents are allowed to post.
The deal brings co-founders Matt Schlicht and Ben Parr into $META's Superintelligence Labs (MSL), the unit run by former Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang.
Moltbook was built to run alongside OpenClaw, the viral AI agent formerly known as Clawdbot and MoltBot.
OpenClaw's creator, Peter Steinberger, was hired by OpenAI last month.
$META is now spending up to $135 BILLION on AI capex in 2026, nearly DOUBLE its 2025 total of $72.2 billion.

AI companies are burning a lot of cash, but are they getting anything back in return?
Anthropic's rapid growth is rewriting the whole playbook.
Get these insane numbers from Bloomberg:
- Anthropic has surpassed $19 BILLION in ARR and is nearing $20 billion
- This run-rate was $14 billion JUST a few weeks back
- At the end of 2025, ARR was estimated at $9 billion
- That's roughly $1 billion added every single week
To put $20 billion in perspective, only 25 companies in the S&P 500 earned more than this over the past year.
Meanwhile, OpenAI is ahead with an estimated $25 billion in annualized revenue. But the gap is narrowing fast, it was $12 billion at year-end, now it's barely $6 billion.
But here's the kicker: neither company is profitable.
OpenAI doesn't expect to break even until 2030.
Anthropic is targeting 2028.
The AI revenue race is real. The AI profit race hasn't even started.

Global crackdown on social media is accelerating:
In the last 4 months, country after country has moved to ban children from social media platforms and $META is at the center of every single one.
In Australia, 4.7 MILLION accounts have already been removed since December.
$META alone shut down nearly 550,000 accounts.
Malaysia followed, banning under-16s from social media as part of its broader Online Safety Act.
Now, in the span of 24 hours:
India's Karnataka, the country's tech capital announced a ban on social media for children under 16.
Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister followed, pledging to block under-13s within 90 days.
Indonesia signed a regulation banning under-16s from "high-risk" platforms starting March 28.
Denmark, France, Greece, Spain, and Italy are all pushing for similar bans at the EU level.
