you should definitely set a stop loss, or at least decide before entering a trade how much of your capital you’re willing to lose, and at what profit level you’re satisfied closing the trade that approach works well for me because i already know in advance where i want to exit my position if i don’t decide beforehand, i usually end up making decisions based on emotions, which rarely works in my favor
