So I’ve been struggling with this so much. There was real harm done by religion and church culture and I don’t want to make light of that. However, moving away from church…. You realize how much it was the center of community for Black people

i love seeing homeschooled children learn through experiences by traveling the world w. their parents. idk if i could do it tho. i’d probably hire someone to travel w. us & do their actual lessons & i do the other part 😂

Rose in the Dark came out when i was having a hard time loving myself. it was a huge part of me doing inner work. ‘Mother’ came out when i was navigating motherhood w. a broken heart, i literally sang myself back to life. @cleosol just released ‘Heaven’ & its already on repeat 🧡
