@cr4igduncan @GretaThunberg My son's school have authorised the absence - thankfully it's a progressive school that recognises that the next generation being passionate about saving the plant is way more important that 3 hours of being in a classroom.

@ukadultwebcams My son's primary school have authorised the absence so not skiving. Climate change awareness way more important than 3 hours of school. Wouldn't call a 6 year old willing to go out in the pouring rain a snowflake either 🤷‍♀️

@SophieBenson_ That’s literally why I stopped blogging fashion and beauty -it’s ethical and sustainable but it’s still “stuff”.

Just listening to an interview with a ‘sustainability’ influencer who said: “The best way to be sustainable is to just stop buying but I can’t physically earn a living if I do that”. So she continues to advertise brands and encourage people to shop. Is that really good enough?

@notmyfirstrode0 @katie_khan Should be, but there’s a lot of focus on how this period of time affects the mum/her body/her mind, when really it should just apply to the baby (I think?). Post partum can only really apply to the mum/her body/her mind which is why the confusion riles me (only a little mind 😜)
