@triplej is it just my taste or is there a poor showing of heavy music on the #hottest100 provided shortlist. 1x song from @Architectsuk, 0x from A Day To Remember, 0x songs from Bad Omens.
Am I the only one who mostly plays games on easy now?
I used to play most games on hard, but my time is so limited now that I just put games on easy to enjoy the art that they are.
What difficulty do you typically play on?
@PeterOvo5 It feels like it needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. Starfield was built with the Creation 2 engine which was an already an updated version. They might not be able to squeeze much more out of it. I love Starfield but a new engine is needed to progress with next gen gaming.
@OmoiteS Hahahaha 4/10. “Honest” review from one of the most biased PlayStation fan accounts out there. The game is great. Stop trying to bring it down to pander to your narrative.
My Honest Review.
🟢Starfield: A Disappointing Mess🟢
Starfield is a major disappointment. After years of hype and anticipation, Bethesda has delivered a game that is buggy, poorly optimized, and lacking in many key areas.
The graphics are outdated, the combat is clunky, and the world is full of repetitive and uninteresting quests. The main story is also weak and uninspired.
On top of all that, Starfield is plagued by bugs and performance issues. I experienced crashes, freezes, and glitches on a regular basis. The game also ran poorly, even on my high-end PC.
I'm a big fan of Bethesda games, but Starfield is a major step back. It's clear that the game was rushed out the door without being properly tested. I would not recommend this game to anyone.
Here are some specific criticisms of the game:
🟢Graphics🟢 The graphics in Starfield are simply not up to par with other modern games. The textures are muddy, the animations are stiff, and the overall look of the game is dated.
🟢Combat🟢 The combat in Starfield is clunky and unsatisfying. The guns feel weak and inaccurate, and the enemies are mostly bullet sponges.
🟢 World🟢 The world of Starfield is vast, but it's also empty and repetitive. There are countless copy-pasted quests and locations, and the overall experience feels lifeless.
🟢Main story🟢 The main story in Starfield is weak and uninspired. The characters are forgettable, the plot is predictable, and the ending is unsatisfying.
🟢Bugs and performance issues 🟢 Starfield is riddled with bugs and performance issues. I experienced crashes, freezes, and glitches on a regular basis. The game also ran poorly, even on my high-end PC.
Overall, Starfield is a disappointing game. It's clear that Bethesda rushed the game out the door without being properly tested. I would not recommend this game to anyone.
🟢Final Score 🟢 4/10
@xenouva@REALLYSOFTBEAR@OmoiteS I’m not sure what part of the game you are referring too. I’ve played 30+ hours and really enjoyed it. Can’t recall chasing around people who weren’t there. So many different quest lines to explore with different feels to their gameplay (ie some promote more stealth play etc)
@REALLYSOFTBEAR@OmoiteS this game gave me no enjoyment. go here, oops the person isn’t there, aight now go across the galaxy to here, oh haha hehe they aren’t there, now go here, ah shucks they just left, now go here across the galaxy, oh they’re dead
😐
Things #Starfield failed to achieve:
🟢 Getting a 90+ Metacritic Score
🟢 Making Xbox relevant again in Console Space
🟢 Game of the Generation Status
🟢 Having a higher user score than Fallout 76 on Steam.
🟢 Dethroning Baldur’s Gate 3 on Steam.
🟢 Preventing GamePass from stagnation.
🟢 Being a Next-Gen graphical Benchmark.
