OMFG…this is the worst, most embarrassing thing ever. Trump is spewing his usual BS, inventing crazy shit on the fly and Biden is looking and acting as if he’s 108 years old😩

This is for coaches but specifically parents. Try to avoid WHY questions. Why did you go for this par 5 in two, why did you use that club in that situation? The players are making what they think is the best decision at the time and trying their best. It’s very frustrating and irritating as a player especially if you’re a kid answering questions in hindsight after the round. Our brains will always remember the negatives since it’s a survival mechanism. It’s not helping to rehash every mistake. Rather ask them, what do you think you did well today? What’s the best shot of the day you remember? What can you improve on? That’s all the reflection that needs to happen day of or week of.

@CanesPP @chambleebrandel Ball, yes maybe. But he used a steel shaft driver for a long time after everyone was using graphite, so it definitely evened things out.

@chambleebrandel In 2000 he had an equipment advantage. Solid, the one everyone uses today, vs wound ball. He and a handfull of others played the solid ball that year. Wouldn't it be great if the gov bodies made everyone go back to the wound ball? The driver would be difficult again.

@Mike_kim714 Any tips on mental side for young junior golfers? My son is 10 and obsessed. But because of that he also gets really frustrated when he doesn't play lights out. Kid is killing it - headed to Pinehurst for World Championship in August, but it's hard to keep him even-keeled.

What’s it like on a Saturday night with a big lead lead on the pgatour? I had a 2 or 3 shot lead after Friday and a 5 shot lead after Saturday. I was already pretty nervous heading into the week because it was my first lead ever but also the 2018 John Deere classic is one of the last few events before the year ends. I hadn’t secured my card and I knew I needed a really high finish to secure my card for last yr. While having a big lead is great, it’s also an added pressure because you know that it’s yours to lose. Everyone expects you to win and there’s been many guys in the past that has collapsed under the pressure. Main thing I remember is the lack of sleep. I usually sleep 8hrs no problem but Fri and sat night I prob avg 4 hrs. I would wake up in the middle of the night with my heart beating harder than normal and wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep. I ended up visualizing ALL the possibilities of Sunday that sat night haha. Getting off to a horrible start, getting off to a great start. Maybe a player makes a big charge on Sunday. What if my swing abandons me? I recently had switched coaches and that was another factor leading to anxiety. Ur brain will always look for worst case scenarios in stressful situations because it’s only job is to survive. I didn’t have much understanding of the brain and mental game at that time (I thought I did). Luckily, Wimbledon was on really early and I was able to watch some of that which took my mind off the golf for a bit. What’s kind of interesting was that when I got to the golf course, I felt way better. I got into my routine, and knew what I was going to do but the time before that was really tough. Waking up at 3am but leaving the hotel at like 10am for the course, that 7hr gap, ur mind goes all over the place haha But it clearly worked! 😂 I ended up starting Sunday with 3 birdies in a row, never looked back, and won by 8! I’ll go into my Sunday round tomorrow

@chambleebrandel Biggest impact on women’s golf - can’t argue against that. But bigger than Tiger? Come on man. I usually enjoy your takes but this is pretty ridiculous!

How can you argue that Se-ri Pak didn’t have the greatest influence in the game? Compare the number of South Korean’s who were in the top 50 of the LPGA money list in 1998 vs how many South Koreans are in the top 50, or top 100 of the world rankings today.
StuMac@StuMac64

Did I just hear @chambleebrandel say that Se Ri Pak had a bigger impact on the game of golf than Tiger 🤣🤣 Brandel, please....

@krassenstein What makes me laugh is that a lot of the parents who are losing their minds over drag shows have little girls who are in dance competitions and dressed in skimpy little outfits doing hyper-sexualized dances as 8 year-olds!🤷🏻‍♂️

So, let's talk about the Drag Show Debate. First, I understand why parents and the government would not want children to see a sexually explicit show of any kind, whether it's straight, gay, trans, etc. I think almost the entire country would agree on this. Now, here is what the problem can be: Most of these laws cite terms that are vague and overly broad, and can mean different things to different people. For example, the Tennessee law states that shows featuring "male or female impersonators" who perform in a way that is "harmful to minors" should be shielded from the public's view. On the face of it, this seems reasonable, right? If something is harmful to a child, then of course, it should not be seen by them. I think we all agree there as well. But the problem is that "harmful to minors" is incredibly broad and undefined. Is a drag queen by themselves "harmful to a minor"? I'm sure some Americans will argue that. What about a drag queen in a skimpy bikini? I'm guessing even more Americans, particularly on the conservative side, would say "yes." How about Drag Queens playing with sex toys and grinding on each other in bikinis? My guess is that the vast majority of Americans would say that this is "harmful to minors." Because of the vagueness of the law, not only is there a likelihood of discrimination, but also a chilling effect for all drag shows, effectively eliminating them. Our politicians, instead of attacking each other and using rare extreme situations to paint the other side as extreme or deviant or even pedophiles, need to work together to come up with common-sense, clearly defined, and precise laws. There is no black and white.  There are an infinite number of shades of grey.  Politicians need to understand that.
