people having an aversion to kpop as a whole is v weird to me bc kpop as a genre itself is so wildly vague that at this point it just means any music sung in korean. like view by shinee and maison by dreamcatcher are both considered kpop despite sounding completely opposite

@mousoutelepath def not any music sung in korean but i see your point !! k-pop refers to the idols while k-music is the music as a whole. for example, heize and stella jang are not considered k-pop because they are not idols. choi yena is considered k-pop because she is an idol.

Yves’ music isn’t for listening. It’s for looking and logging onto RYM. The point isn’t to enjoy listening to it, the point is that she sounds like oklou, aphextwins, underscores and other pitchforkslop artists which means Yves’ is not like the other kpop idols.
