@KanturkGAA This is the programme from Feile 1976, unfortunately the teams are not listed.

Kanturk GAA hosted a club from Armagh in Feile na nGael in 1976 and reached the Group “C” final losing to Cobh in the final. Would anyone have photos of the kanturk & Armagh teams from that time?

@andun1010 @NewYorkGAA My understanding is that Mick was a dual replacement All-Star.there was always player brought on the tour ,who could play in either game if there was an Injury etc F.y.i Ray Cummins won two all stars in the same year ,he was picked at full forward on both all star teams in 1971

@gregallenRTE Our comp secretary told us it was brought in so we’re all playing off same system when in another country playing with other nationalities, I’ve played twice with other nationalities and both times they didn’t even mark a card🤷🏻‍♂️

Arguable point and a popular opinion. For me, I think WHS is better but was introduced as a blunt instrument, with an American golf culture slant that was unsuitable for Ireland & the UK. CONGU actually ran WHS in its first 3 years but I’m not sure they were listening to golfers
