Cursor, Claude Code, Codex are all single-player. Whim is multiplayer.
Whim is a shared workspace where humans, agents, code, context, compute, and history live together.

First impressions of Cursor 3 vs @conductor_build:
+1 for Cursor:
- Cloud Agents: really nice to not have to worry about Mac going to sleep
- Better file editor + global file search
- Built-in browser (haven't used much yet, but seems convenient)
+1 for Conductor:
- (10x this) can use Codex/Claude subscriptions
- Tabs: multiple sessions for the same worktree/session
- Worktrees auto-fetch from origin
- Better GHA status UX
- Better hotkeys
I think ultimately Cursor will win with enterprises, whereas Conductor is the choice for the few-man teams.

@NathanFlurry here's another to play with :P

Your Claude doesn't talk to your teammate's Claude. We're fixing that. We built Whim — a multiplayer cloud workspace where developers and AI agents work together as a team. Open alpha is live — 100 spots, 25 hours of free compute hours/week. whim.run

@FurqanR hey, we also think the infra + context layer for agents will be important and launching our alpha today. check it out and let us know :)

Agent infra is genuinely underbuilt. Sandboxes, browsers, code execution, auth, file systems, all of it. Almost every layer needs better options.
Spent the last few months evaluating what's out there and most of it is very early.
If you're building infra for agents I want to try your project.

But the deeper problem is collaboration in a team.
You build hours of context with your AI. Then a teammate picks up the task and their Claude starts from zero. Every handoff is a reset. And because agents let everyone move so much faster, nobody has visibility into what the rest of the team is even working on anymore. You're moving at AI speed with zero visibility.

Every major leap in human capability came from a leap in collaboration. Language let us coordinate. Writing let us remember. The Internet let us think together and organize at scale. It was not about getting smarter individually, but about sharing context and collaborating.
AI agents are powerful but exist in a vacuum. Each one starts from zero. Each one works in isolation. Each one forgets the moment the session ends.
We're building the language that can help agents collaborate with each other and with us, as a real team.
