So SOME News for any "Lore Enthusiasts" I have decided to sever my connection from any of AToastedOrange's Characters (and so anyone and their characters who have strong ties/lores with his) simply because it's killing me, it's mild story time. For those who know, like 2-3 years ago, I felt like "quitting" and was so sure I was done that I sold all my cast of characters at that time and AToastedOrange happened to buy most if not all of them anytime I put them up for sale. After like a week, I began to have seller's remorse I believe, tried to get em back, he wasn't having it because there was no telling that I wouldn't just try to sell them again, which is perfectly reasonable, especially since I have a bad habit of selling characters before that I just couldn't "make work" anymore. So after some despairing and whatnot, I figured, "well, why not try working with him and maybe connect lore/stories or something", did that for however long it's been now, and now I'm starting to feel like watching the characters I've created be "twisted" into something I wouldn't have done or thought about began to bother me also, but also like, they're not mine either anymore, so if I were to say anything about it, it'd just look like bitching and whining, so I just dealt with it, and even then my "pride" or whatever in my creations just began to fall and any of my current attempts (that I still to this day am trying to figure out) to "Re-Build" likeable/lovable characters that can still have "sex appeal", but also have "personality" have began to fall due to me trying to stay connected to my old characters, or at least I'm sure that's the reason I've become so un-motivated due to trying to keep connection to my old characters that are no longer mine, because unfortunately, compared to back then, I'm a very "OC Oriented" account nowadays, I like to make characters people like, whether for one reason or another. So that's why I feel like I should just sever my characters from his characters in order to try and build my own thing, instead of still trying to have a part with my old creations. Currently my new lore is still bare minimum, still no steady foundation, but as of right now, aside from the relationships the characters have, there's nothing you need to know at this point until I create it. I hope this is a better "restart" than any of my other attempts, and I intend to keep my characters and try to make them work, I'll try putting more careful thought into them all and make something everyone likes.
