@elizaclove Yeah, my first big crash i put on so much weight. I’m trying to lose a bit of weight by adding more fruits and vegetables and low calorie foods rather than removing foods from my diet. At the very least I’m actively trying to not gain anymore!

I’m finding it really hard to lose weight with M.E and LC. I’ve gone from underweight when I was severe to now overweight. Gaining weight did help a lot but now I need to lose some for my health. Cutting a lot of calories makes my fatigue worse and I can’t really exercise.

Your mental illness might explain your behavior but it doesn’t excuse your impact on other people. It might explain why you did what you did but it doesn’t erase the fact that someone else had to live with the impact. It gives context and not absolution. You can say

@JeunePOTS I’ve been on it for a few years and while the heart rate is better snd it takes longer for the sweating and feeling dizzy to occur when I’m upright, it’s not helped my fatigue or made it worse.

#pwME who've been on Ivabradine for dysautonomia, has it made your fatigue worse ? I'm on it since 2 months (1 month 2,5mg*2 then 5mg morning 2,5 evening) and it kinda works for the HR but my cognitive fatigue increased so much in 2 months that my baseline seems halved

Idrk why people are mad when there are lots of ads before movies. Sometimes there's a long line for popcorn or you want to talk to your friend while they're doing m&m ads. And never have I had someplace to urgently be after a movie ends

Lisa Nandy is either lying or has grossly misunderstood what her constitutents are saying here. PIP is NOT an out-of-work benefits. 1 in 5 people on PIP are in work. Noone on PIP WOULD EVER say this. Full stop. I will be complaining to the PCC.

@moniza_hossain I found starting reading the classics using audiobooks helped to get me into the vibe etc of them and then I could more easily get into physically reading them.

Controversial opinion, but I have a theory that if we were to lock a modern reader in a room with a random classic and force them to give the book the time and attention it needs, they would end up enjoying the book (Recommending Jane Austen novels for this experiment)
