@EvilleInTheSky @82ndairborneBT It’s an XLT (which you can tell by the wheels), and those are only available with the standard range battery. That truck is a tick over 6,000 pounds. All I’m saying is that Lightning’s aren’t a crazy heavy monstrosity (like the 9000 pound hummer) like you’re implying.

Dave, I got to respectfully disagree with this tweet and your follow-up replies. With the screenshot, plus the name “NASCAR ‘25”, which is very clearly the working name we associate to the video game, it was definitely 110% clear this is NASCAR video game news. Had they worded it as “the NASCAR 2025 season”, then I could see the confusion. But there’s nothing confusing with their tweet and headline. And with the unknowns in all this, it’s certainly a fair question on if the two teams will be able to participate in the next game. It wouldn’t be the first time contractual agreements or disagreements led to omissions in a NASCAR game, either. Daily Downforce has rightfully come under fire recently for behavior on Twitter, but they shouldn’t be berated for this one.
