@ztoide28 @Alt_DostyaAK And thoroughbreds have it easier than standardbreds, IMO. Thoroughbreds (like the ones in Umamusume) race about once a month to six weeks. Standardbreds (the ones with the buggy behind the horse) go about once a week. Even so, they only jog and run qualifiers about as often.

@ztoide28 @Alt_DostyaAK The main focus of real horseracing is the racing. I didn't mean to imply horses don't ever train, it's just less of a focus than the game makes it out to be. Horses don't typically go months without racing. The game abstracts a lot of what racing actually is like.

@juiceetin Typically, thoroughbreds aren't used to this sort of scheduling, racing every two to three weeks, but some of the best can. There are even some horses that can and do race once a week. It's not the same style of racing, but they are capable of it. Those trainers aren't in Hell.

The systems for F2P are good now. They weren't that good in the beginning. And I was late to the party by a couple weeks, I think. Horseracing is supposed to be fun. The moment it's not, is the moment you need to walk away from it. I've seen what it does to people IRL.

I just play the game, and get better that way. I'm not entitled to anything the moment it comes out. I'm F2P, and will remain so. If I get good pulls, I'm happy. If I don't, then I know I'm getting stars, and upgrading my umas and trainer cards that way.

I've seen a lot of complaints about Trackblazer being too easy, and that it power crept the game. I have some thoughts on this. Strap in, because you're likely not going to like it. But it's the truth. You have only yourselves to blame.

A reversal of fortunes for my son and I with our pulls. It was his turn for the regular 10-pull, and I got Jade Grass Wonder (for the third time), and this:

For once, I'm the one getting pulls. I got Tannhauser, which was expected. However... no Kitasan. But I did get another off-banner...

嗚呼! That's frustrating as hell! Go into Umas for the free banner pulls. I get nothing. Go into Younger's to do the same, get both banner pulls. I didn't even care if I got Kitasan, I just wanted Mambo for myself, and my son now has both. He also got TM Opera O in the same pull.

Also, since it does come up: There is Umamusume content here. I freeroll. I don't spend anything on the game for either myself or my son. I was in the horseracing industry for 13 years until the pandemic forced me out. That's why I play. Please support racing in all forms.
