@Sylvia_Mercede Well, I confess I have a tendency to dive headlong into the implications of a story's premise but I think I found a balance. Whether it's the right balance or not I have to leave to the readers to decide. So far the responses have been positive.

@whitmarshdj That makes total sense, the noir tone definitely fits that concept. Mixing quantum theory with that gritty Chandler style sounds fascinating. Did you find it tricky balancing the science with the storytelling?

@Sylvia_Mercede Hard to say. It really started from wanting to write a quantum many-worlds story, and I just thought it would be a nice twist. Also, I'd been reading some Raymond Chandler and liked the noir vibe of a character getting ever deeper into something.
