Also productivity is ultimately about outcome not volume.
Consulting often rewards a volume based outcome bc the ultimate outcome is not a concern of the party providing the rewards.

I used to be so productive when I worked in consulting. But I always felt this deep existential angst
Now I just drop the ball on way more but feel way better.
What if being very productive is just not healthy for most people?
