For over a decade I've been using a "~/tmp/today" directory to throw semi-temporary stuff into - finally moved it into a separate repo so others can easily use it too: github.com/whot/tmp-today Very much a productivity tool.

@bjoernhassler X server will never use those. It's a lot of effort for little gain and no-one has the time to spend that effort.

@bjoernhassler 20y ago or so xkbdata was renamed to xkeyboard-config but the debian package kept the old name (I think)

@who_t who-t.blogspot.com/2021/02/a-pre-… mentions 'xkeyboard-config 2.33'. Ubuntu 22.04 has xkb-data 233-1. Is that the same thing? Many thanks!

@osslate @acruiz If you plan to use it under linux, Wacom is a wacom. Right now I have the xp-pen artist 12 2nd gen just collecting dust. Such a nice form factor and display, but #shittydrivers
