🚨 Rohit Sharma has refused to take back the captaincy. Rohit has put forward some conditions:
> He wants full control of the team.
Management should follow his decisions.
> Rohit wants an apologizing video from those who removed him.
> He wants Sachin to stay away from Mumbai Indians while he is part of MI.
> Rohit will groom a few players under him, and after his retirement, he will choose the right person to lead MI.
> And the last point: Hardik will remain part of MI but will play as a normal player, not as vice-captain.
> There is no official confirmation from MI yet. Updates will only come after a final decision is made.
What do you think? Will Mumbai Indians management accept all these points?
My heart is literally crying while writing this. I never thought MI would become this clueless one day.
Rohit Sharma built this franchise brick by brick, made them the most successful franchise, and these clown Ambanis and management removed him from captaincy.
For what? For this?
MI under Rohit Sharma used to fight; players had hunger. But this team has now become meme material. An ICC trophy-winning captain is sitting in the dugout, while aura farmers are captaining the team. Batters don’t even have 1% of the dedication.
Most Mumbaikars aren’t supporting MI because they want Rohit back as captain. This is the same team that dropped Ricky Ponting mid season from captaincy.
I can’t understand how Hardik Pandya is still captaining to date after having three below-par seasons.
At this point, Delhi Capitals and LSG have more relevance than Mumbai Indians. This franchise feels dead.
I am literally witnessing the funeral of the franchise I loved and supported throughout my childhood.
