Today, no more analysis. Not about who did what, who benefitted, who took advantage, or who burned down the country. Today, we must collectively admit: when people spoke, we didn’t listen. When they cried for help, we didn’t listen. And today, with their lives gone, we are being forced to listen. This is a moment of reckoning for the entire nation. What are we hearing? A cry for change. Change in our institutions, change in our democracy, change in our media, change from everything that has kept us from evolving. Kantipur, as an institution, must change too. Our past has been defined by being for the people. Our future cannot be about just being for the people, but WITH the people. We have to evolve. We have to be willing to listen, even when the ideas make us uncomfortable. We need a younger newsroom, younger leadership. We must change ourselves before we make promises to the public. I’m on listening mode, hate comments are ok but not helpful, my personal home is already burned down so that’s enough hate. Please let me know how I, the work I do, the companies I am a part of can help build the Next Nepal 🙏🏻

Sometimes when you try to help people going through this they suck the soul out of you. The ones who feel the liberty to go round creating scenes, disrespecting people and throwing tantrums everywhere just because they are having a rough time are real problems. I'd stay away.
