@luv_stories0 Yeah, I'm leaning more toward that explanation as well. However, when Shiki looks at the flame, the voice still insists that it is the source of the curse, which leaves me a bit conflicted. But yeah, for the most part, I think like you do.

@whynotYuan Interesting, I don't believe that the flame itself is the root. The berserk state defiantly is a curse, because if you recall when Jyuji went berserk in Ch.194, black hands were trying to keep him in the state, when his friends were trying to bring out of it. It is holding Shiki
