Credit to Rowling, she's perfectly demonstrated how much misinformation there's been about this law. Her comments don't make her an oppressed martyr standing up for free speech, they just make her a sad bully - an act which is miserable and lonely, but not criminal.

NEW: a Police Scotland spokesperson says they have now received some complaints in relation to JK Rowling's social media posting about the new hate crime act. "The comments are not assessed to be criminal and no further action will be taken."
