What a wonderful morning, being asked to visit the Wat Phra Singh UK temple, to add our school gifts into the base, ready for their new statue in their peace garden. There will be a ceremony on Sunday, that people can visit if you're free.Thank you @WatPhraSingh_UK

World Book Day 2024 - Widnes Academy style!

Following on from our Picture News assembly, we wanted to learn Sign Language as some high schools will make this a GCSE option in 2025! So here are Key Stage 1 enjoying our first ever British Sign Language lunchtime club 😀

Year 1 Victorian School Day!A trip back through time today with boys and girls entrances, choosing 'Victorian' names for ourselves, chanting our timetables, copying out our class rules onto our chalkboards, cleanliness hand checks, drills, a drawing lesson and EVEN a dunces cap!

Huge well done to our football team for coming 8th in the Halton School Football Team League 👏

A huge well done to our Miss Grace, for completing the Chester marathon on Sunday with a chip time of 4.25.17. All whilst raising money for some school playground equipment.
