Oak Flats Public School celebrated Grandparents Day somewhat different this year, but was enjoyed by all. We hope our Grandparents enjoy their special keepsakes. Well done everyone!

Happy World Teachers’ Day to the amazing, dedicated and inspirational teachers at Oak Flats Public School. You all play such a significant role in children’s lives and make our school what it is today!

Stage 2 TCAP session was held today at OFPS. The ladies looked at Progressions, What Works Best Documents and what the research is telling us and an analysis of data collected to guide planning and teaching activities.

Another productive TCAP day at Oak Flats Public School with our Year 1 teachers. Congratulations ladies on sharing your experiences, views and ideas in a collaborative manner on a variety of educational topics.

The Kindergarten Orientation team is ready to present via Zoom. We look forward to meeting our new families.

Story Factory was at OFPS again today, working with our Stage 2 students and teachers. It was wonderful to see the students high engagement during the writing activities. Thank you Raechel McCarthy for seeing our Stage 2 writers in action.

Our second TCAP session involving Stage 3 teachers was held today at OFPS. Teachers were involved in analysing and grading writing samples, looking at data and discussing the What Works Best Documents. Thank you Raechel McCarthy for paying a visit to our school during this time.

Wishing all the Year 12 students commencing the HSC exams today all the best. A big shout out to all the teachers who have helped them along the way. Whatever the outcome we are all proud of you!
