Still here! Been in Beijing and Shanghai meeting teams and leaders l, super insightful. Rong and Sunny are deeply respected here, and I don’t think ELA is over; if anything, it’s about to pick up. The conversations and opportunities building are very exciting. I say this as a community member and builder. People may see me as core, but my first Elastos buy was just $40, I got stuck in like everyone else. I just want to see it explode. Q4 is the alt leg. Takeaways right now: - Huge opportunity from the new ECO chain, liquidity injection from an eastern community already ~$700m marketcap. - DAO rejected proposals for friendchains with different gas, and now we’re seeing a dedicated ELA chain with abstraction for their tokens. That goes live tomorrow, strong leadership, great showcase for Elastos DAO. - Some criticise Sunny, but face-to-face he’s here for ELA and sees this as the liquidity injection we need. On the WCI side, potential industrial deals are hundreds of billions in company value. Not hopium, I’m optimistic. Rong also gets criticism, but sitting with engineering teams you see the respect they have for him. The World Computer feels inevitable, multi-billion projects will be built on it thanks to the separation of application and network layers and the sophistication it offers enterprise. China itself has been fascinating. Margins are razor thin because competition is insane, innovation comes fast, execution is brutal. Offices with camper beds, deadlines to the minute, no room for error. It makes me wonder, is the West cooked? On Elacity I think I’ve cracked the viral strategy. Sat down with the Thundersoft CEO (15k+ employees), showed him Elacity, and got great feedback. Travel’s helped me process things, big UI/UX work ready, new viral feature about 8 weeks away.
