@Gnosisinformant @sacredchad_ig That's one rare verb stem. What did you use as a reference, out of curiosity?

The word Plato uses is ἀνασχινδυλευθήσεται which is a compound of words that means “impaled on a stake”.
The word the New Testament writers use for crucifixion is σταυρόω.
Also Plato isn’t predicting a messiah or some divine event. His character Glaucon is playing devils advocate to push back against Socrates idea of Justice.
It’s not a prophecy or prediction of anything good.
If anything? To flip this into a prophecy would be saying the future Christian world will be unjust and morality would be flipped.

Did you know Plato predicted the crucifixion of Jesus Christ?✝️
In 375 BC, Plato wrote:
"The perfectly just man will be considered unjust, while the unjust will appear just. [..] The just man will be scourged, tortured, chained, his eyes will be burned out, and, after suffering all evils, he will be crucified."
(The Republic Book II, 361e-362a)

You're not supposed to take God's name in vain, according to commandments, but we don't even know how to pronounce it because it's taboo! The closest thing we have is the tetragrammaton. That said, the religious use this to police speech when people say "GOD DAMNIT", etc.
That's exactly what scripture warns against doing, and it's exactly what Jesus protested.
My point is this: why would anyone trust religious leadership that misinterprets scripture to manipulate people? Theyre' probably charlatans just like the authors with book deals Grusch described, and so they will find a way to use scripture to explain the paranormal to hold influence over others.
Completely agree with him that we shouldn't formulate any premature conclusions about what we are seeing, when we have incomplete data. We need to be able to sit with the discomfort of not having a solid conclusion.

Almost like its Magick.
Most Churches Claim that Alll concepts of Non-Material Subtle Powers, are Sorcery, and are the Work of Demons.
Some even Argue there is no Magick, only Tricks by Demons (implying they carry out Magick, and claiming No Natural carriers of Powers exist).
Nobody will get to the bottom of what UFO's can be if they Blanket claim all those areas are Demonic.
People wonder why they Claim its Demons, and wonder why some can't get over that and think Multi-Faceted.. Many can't seperate their Dogma from The Verifiable. Many don't want to try to use definitions where they're actually appropriate.
We're stuck in Arthurian-Age Assumptions. With many Claiming, but not many Backing it up with Logic, or Reason even where clearly they Could. Magick is not all evil, the definition of Magick isnt merely Sorcery.
Technically any Subtle Energy which operates with Some Intention or Order through Subtler Parts of Reality but Does Not depend on Material Rules alone, is a Form of Magick, or is considered a Magick Energy. Even a DEW if it went through such domains Knowing it wouldn't be detected.
Problem is, if Such DEWs are real, you have to prove Magick exists, Prove Subtle Reality exists, as well as prove or show where it intersects and is controllable Intelligently or Mechanistically from Physical Reference.
Which is Impossible if people try to fit it or expect it to come fully from within Flawed cherry picked frameworks.

David Grusch claims people working with him on UFO investigations faced retaliation, including anomalous health incidents and directed energy weapon attacks. 😳

Here's the thing about scripture... what is described as "beryl" in one translation, is described as "topaz" in another. But when you look up the original word in the earliest manuscripts, you learn the word refers to a place, not a specific stone. And that place is known for its iron ores, not beryl or topaz (though these have also been recovered)
My point is this. You don't know what scripture says. You don't know what the original words were, or what they meant. Neither does your pastor.
That's why I have low key been posting a bunch of linguistic information pertaining to biblical literature and the etymologies of scriptural language with minimal context - so that you could look at it for yourself and form your analysis without my influence.

@fworksconfetti There's a reason these psychotropic medications are treated as a restriction and as a restraint when it comes to human services for the disabled.

Ella Emhoff, stepdaughter of former Vice President Kamala Harris, from 16 December last year:
"...I'm just sitting here crocheting, waiting for a friend, and I was just listening to this podcast that The Wall Street Journal put out about SSRIs and anti-anxiety meds and kind of the over-prescription of them in America.
"And it was making me think a lot because I've been on SSRIs for over a decade, almost fifteen years probably, and they were calling out the lack of research on long-term use of these things.
"They were calling out the lack of information that doctors give about coming off of these meds and kind of the psychological effects they can have.
"And it really got me thinking how little I've thought about that, naively, obviously.
"But I've noticed that every time I've gone off of it for a week or missed it or for whatever reason, like, it has been really hard for me, and I've had a really hard time.
"And I guess this is just something I was wondering if you guys have thought about or relate to or kind of consider when you're thinking about going on meds like that.
"Because I don't know if this is something that I feel like is being talked about enough because I feel like so many of us are on these meds, and this is, like, actually happening.
"Like, people get off of them, and they kind of break down, and it can be really bad. So yeah, I guess I just want your general thoughts."

@wildstrums I need it. Will show this comment to my wife to help persuade her.

@PeriklesGREAT I think what I liked so much about them is that you could open the doors, hood, and hatches, whereas most toy cars or models were more static; just the wheels would move. That was kind of rare for toys back then.
English

@PeriklesGREAT I had these little micro machine toy cars in my youth in 1991 that I somehow lost, and they meant so much to me. Never did find them, even after I moved. I had a little yellow convertible like the picture, and a black Ford Model T that I can remember.

@NoContextHumans So I guess the algorithm is trying to say Sony is retarded because they can get away with littering hundreds of thousands of balls while the rest of us get shamed for not putting the shopping cart where it belongs.
