NEWS: 2026 QB Will Shields has committed to Samford‼️ Shields from Centrevile, VA threw for 2,804 yards and 36 TDs with a 64% completion. He originally signed with Albany. The first high school QB commit for @Coach_Grass and @CoachPTyson.

Former UAlbany QB commit Will Shields has committed to Samford! Shields had over 3,000 total yards and 48 TD's at Centreville (VA).

Centreville 2026 QB Will Shields has committed to play his College Football at #Samford. Shields completed 64% of his passes for 2804 yards & 36 TD's to go with 310 yards rushing & 12 TD's on his way to being named 2nd Team All-State + Region 6D Offensive Player of the Year.
