American weapons programs need to be completely redone. The current strategy is to build a small number of weapons at a high price to fight yesterday’s war. Unless there are immediate and dramatic changes made, America will lose the next war very badly.

The CBO reported recently that the Navy is planning to spend $40B per year for the next 30 years (or $1.2T) for 364 ships or ~$3B per ship. It may be the case that the Navy, if they wanted, could spend a fraction of this for 10k+ armed drones to blanket the world instead.

@wholemars @elonmusk I fit 3 carseats in my M3. Just gotta get the right carseats. I can share what worked for us with your cousin. I wish everyone knew that M3 and MY work great for families with 3 kids.

hey @elonmusk You’re encouraging everyone to have a lot of kids, but Tesla doesn’t have a lot of options for big families. Model X has 6 or 7 seats, but that’s higher end / expensive and still not as large a family with 3 or 4 kids needs my cousin is having a 3rd kid and had to trade their Y up for a bigger car. They were disappointed they couldn’t find another Tesla to suit their needs perhaps a Tesla Van or a CyberSUV that extends the Cybertruck platform with a third row of seating instead of a bed could round out the product lineup nicely

@brandonhli @Airbnb Because of your airbnb story, I learned of your startup. Making it easier for patients to find clinical trials is an important endeavor. I wish you success.

Hotels > @Airbnb, a horror story 🫠 It’s 2:30am in London. Flight delayed 3 hours. Raining. I message our host that we’re going to miss the check in window. There’s a fee. Weird since it’s self check in, but ok We get to the airbnb and the lockbox doesn’t work. Rain, rain..

🚨 We need each and every one of you to send tens of thousands of letters in the next two weeks to Judge McCormick before she statutes on the plaintiff attorney fees. Time is of essence! #DelawareCourt81 (to remind of the 81% approval of the 2018 Comp Package) Listening to the Space below you will understand the motivation and find the instructions for us to make a notable difference in the days / short weeks to come. Please listen to this 45 minutes space to be inspired to send a letter to Chancellor Kathaleen St. J. McCormick. Describe in your own passionate words, in a VERY RESPECTFUL manner - your reasons why and since when you are invested in Tesla, - that there is no financial benefit to any shareholder that could serve as the basis of calculation for plaintiff attorney fees, - that a payment in stock to the plaintiff attorneys is unimaginable and should have a long vesting period if considered, and - how this all hurts you, the little shareholder. Please publish your letter here on X, with the hashtag #DelawareCourt81, to inspire others. Let's all share this initiative to motivate as many as possible. This can be done by shareholders worldwide. Send a - if possible registered - letter to The Court of Chancery To the attention of The Honorable Chancellor Kathaleen St. J. McCormick Leonard L. Williams Justice Center 500 North King Street Wilmington, DE 19801 (no email yet, if we find it, we'll communicate it later). We are counting on you !!!

@linylinx built by engineers with no consideration for ML scientists ☹️ and the best part is that if you end up switching from aws to google cloud or azure, you have to learn it all again 😢

@elonmusk A great rule is well researched and mitigates a specific type of scraper/bot. But even a great set of rules only go so far. Anomaly detection models help you adapt when the scrapers adapt so you can design more defenses. The scrapers give up when the arms race gets too expensive.

@elonmusk @TimSweeneyEpic See @JamesVerbus’s reply. His team solved scraping at LinkedIn and the techniques were adopted at Facebook as well. twitter.com/jamesverbus/st…

@elonmusk @TimSweeneyEpic There are effective ML-based approaches for the detection of automated scraping behavior. Supervised activity-sequence-based detection: exchange.scale.com/public/videos/… Unsupervised outlier detection: youtube.com/watch?v=sFRrFW…

@TimSweeneyEpic Several hundred organizations (maybe more) were scraping Twitter data extremely aggressively, to the point where it was affecting the real user experience. What should we do to stop that? I’m open to ideas.

The internet feels increasingly broken. News sites are paywalled or account walled, Reddit is nag walled, Google search spams ads and SEO to the point of uselessness, and now Twitter is account walled. Web browsing feels horrible now.
