@FrisianFreak also while planters were instrumental in pushing through a ratification of the acts of secession in most states the Confederacy was overwhelmingly non-slave owning workers and they determined most policy because it was a presidential republic

@FrisianFreak It's not historical revisionism the consensus is that the planter class was generally opposed to the Davis administration and disenfranchised especially towards the end of the civil war

@FrisianFreak That's not true, the Davis administration persecuted the Planters. Their power in the Confederate State was greatly diminished other than in state legislatures

CSA: The state exists to advance the interests of the planter class at the expense of the White Worker. NAR: The state exists to advance Racialism and Socialism.
