Grandpa died last week.
Very grateful that 5 years ago, I interviewed all my surviving grandparents.
Haven't had the guts to listen to the interview I did with him yet, but I HIGHLY recommend everyone do this.

If your work is DWY, the client is a major barrier between you and results.
I create a test (don't call it a test) for guys so I can see whether they'll actually follow-through on the work.
Have saved myself from immeasurable annoyance by filtering clients out this way.

Paying premium is a mental health hack. I'm so internally resistant to it, and then I have a great experience (because I paid more), and I am reminded how worth it is.

I rarely talk about so-called “Conservative Influencers” because as the Book of Eli movie said: “Stay on the Path it's not your concern” however this is an exception Mike Cerno is the worst and it isn't even close. He plays both sides of every argument, he constantly flip-flops, and this is the dude who was invited to the White House and given a special coin by President Trump? Are you flipping kidding me? This dude endorsed DeSantis in the primary and hated on Trump every day, yet he is treated like a God by some people, are you kidding me? I see a lot of people COPE about Chip Roy or Bob Good but Cerno was even 100% worse. He was dead wrong on Covid. Has he ever admitted he was wrong about that? Nope. He said Trump should have been impeached after January 6th. Has he apologized? Nope. Most impressively he has blocked over 300,000 accounts or more. That is the most on X, I believe. The fool even has a rule book for it. Is that normal to you? That is almost the entire state of Wyoming. He can't handle anyone who doesn't bow down and kiss his feet. But he is invited to the White House? I guess my invitation must have gotten lost in the mail. When Scott Adams died that was a tragedy, he was well-liked by a lot of people. Now when Cerno is no longer with us in this world, no one will care because everyone will have been blocked by him. Therefore no one will know that he is gone or even care. His prediction here is just peak delusion

I've had some private conversations where people end up thinking I'm totally anti-AI, and nothing can be further from the truth. I am, though, against the use of AI in a way that doesn't bring any value to the world. I'm also somewhat wary about the cognitive cost that it's taking on society as a whole. But if it makes someone twice as productive or ten times as productive and still be able to produce valuable output, then I'm all for it.

Of all my biz owner friends using AI, only 1 (!) is using it to boost his bottom-line in a meaningful way.
The rest are just using it to save time or start new projects.
AI is like the Internet - it can either be the great enabler or the great distractor. Depends on you.
