Macomb-Dakota RHP & @BallStateBB Signee @DemasseLuke is back at it, generating tons of whiff with his elite sweeper in his first start of the year. At 6’3” and 175 and already flashing 93 with cut, Luke embodies what it means to have a high-ceiling. Will be special to watch what he does over coming months and how he continues to progress over the next 3-5 years.

Saw this and drew a direct correlation to @DemasseLuke “Super-Supinator” is a perfect way to describe Luke. It’s why his sweeper is as elite as it is, from the standpoint of both shape and velocity. More often than not, the PD process lends itself to leaning into what the athlete does well, allowing them to make themselves different. If everyone is elite in accordance to the same standard, then nobody is elite. Also, cool to see a HS arm that consistently shows that 91-93 velocity range have the ability to replicate shapes and angles that a big-league reliever has. See below ⬇️
