So some much happier and distracting news in my life that's doing a great job focusing attention elsewhere. I'll be a dad this week. He's a month early but healthy enough, and waiting would make it dangerous for him & momma. Timetable for paternity leave just jumped up to now!

@garfgodot I didn't want to run a Twitch team anymore so I shut it down, it was a ton of work with almost no reward. Your post shows how toxic things got, that you'd rather make a "call out" post all these years later rather than just talk to me like an actual human being.

@garfgodot I ran a twitch team 5 years ago that accepted anybody. It slowly turned from a fun experience into a toxic one, some members were bad people. I had to devote a huge amount of time to solving issues on the team and it really hurt my mental health.

Twitch regularly platforms racists and bigots. Some of it's biggest streamers are paid very well to spew hate. There are so many good people fighting for inclusivity but this continually casts a shadow over everything.

Favourite joint in Tokyo: record bar 33 1/3rpm run by Shigeru and Mayumi Itoh. They serve some lovely Japanese whiskeys alongside the grooviest 60s, 70s, and 80s rock, soul, and funk via Mr. Itoh's collection of vinyls. Transition song choices between requests are so smooth. 🤌🏼

Extremely sad to announce that @jenzlinger and I are going our separate ways for now. This may seem a little sudden to our viewers, but for us, it's been a slow shifting of life goals that have reached a point where we think we need some time apart. We still love each other very much and always will. This is to give us space to think about what we want for our lives ahead. I'm staying in Adelaide and Jenny is moving to Melbourne this weekend to start a new adventure there. This probably isn't something we will want to talk about on our streams any time soon, so please understand if we don't fully engage with your comments online, but know we absolutely appreciate your thoughts and words, and we are doing our best to take care of ourselves and each other.
