A 12-and-under youth football team from Cabarrus County will play in the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Orlando next month. The Odell Eagles, from Concord, represent eight middle schools in the area. The team is coached by Nestor Mendez. The Eagles are one of eight Division I teams nationally in the event and the Concord kids qualified after beating opponents 379-46 this season.
