Perhaps Trump would have done this regardless, but let’s not forget Biden created this pre-emptive pardon precedent. The only good news that might come out of this pardon corruption: we will get a bipartisan supported Constitutional amendment to create a Congressional nullification process for all presidential pardons.

Just as Christians recognize, fast, and reverently participate in the life of Christ during Holy Week, America’s institutions should reflect that same reverence. That is why I have introduced legislation to lower the US flag to half-staff on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. This would serve as a solemn reminder of Christ, who was crucified for our transgressions against a holy God. Christ is King of America, and we should honor Him accordingly.

Is the SAVE America Act a priority for our Senators or not? The House GOP has passed the SAVE Act THREE times — July 2024 (bipartisan support), April 2025 (220–208), and again last month (218–213). Each time, we’ve sent this critical bill to the GOP-controlled Senate, and we’re still waiting for a vote.

Everywhere I go, I am the failed founder. I had lunch with two people this week who I hadn't seen since my company bombed almost two years ago. Both acknowledged it during lunch—because you gots to, right? (You do.) I don't mind it. It's part of my story now. But that story is changing. I paid like, $375 or something, to have this story by Stephen Schmidt in the Louisville Business First reprinted, because it's an important step in my journey and now serves as a daily reminder in my office. The headline: "Startup founder comes back with new tool" I was rock bottom: • Laying off the entire company (me too) • Working for free to try and sell a distressed asset • Losing $8M • Unemployed, applying for jobs like a normie (I say this in jest) • Embarrassed, struggling with health issues from stress But I gritted my teeth, stood up, and started over. You can't be strong without lifting. And strength is not only showcased through adversity, it's created by it. I did come back. I'm building again. I have some proving to do before I'm more than the failed founder, but the headline's changing. I know most of y'all follow me for music and would rather I shut up about anything else, but to the 12 of you still reading this because you're curious about me outside of music, happy Saturday. “Just eat whole foods. Avoid anything in a package. Eat more fruits and vegetables.” No shit, Sherlock. Most of us would benefit from eating more fruits and veggies. But advice like this skips the most important question: who is actually doing the work? Who is planning the meals? Who is grocery shopping, often multiple times a week because produce spoils? Who is budgeting for foods that cost more and don’t last as long? Who is washing, chopping, cooking, packing, and cleaning, on top of paid work, childcare, caregiving, and everything else? Because a raw bell pepper isn’t a meal. “Just eat better” ignores the very real time, cost, access, skills, and invisible labor required to make that happen. And let’s be honest, this labor disproportionately falls on women. Nutrition advice that ignores mental load, time scarcity, food environments, and gendered labor isn’t just unhelpful. It’s lazy. Health isn’t just about what you eat. It’s also about who is expected to make it happen.
