It’s my season on undeniable breakthrough and I am breaking forth.

I spent last week at @NCCC & @ecowas_cedeao workshop focused on climate governance and public finance. In my group Climate-Sensitive Budgeting (CSB) we reviewed and validated the CSB section of the regional report. Our focus: • Strengthening climate expenditure data • Improving indicators for assessing climate-sensitive budgets • Refining recommendations on climate budget tagging & risk screening • Identifying key advocacy priorities for integrating climate issues into national budgets

A pleasure to meet Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium, also one of Belgiums key envoys on economic and trade missions, along with her advisor Ambassador Jan Wouters. Interesting discussion on current trade developments, implications for Belgium as well as its successful push to diversify trade. Many thanks to H.E Christophe Payot, Permanent Representative of Belgium to the UN and WTO, and his wonderful wife for a warm reception.

Just concluded Side-Event at the Nigeria Pavilion here in Belem Brazil, by the DBN and the panel discussion centered on building and funding sustainable projects in Nigeria. This is a call to innovators and start-ups to come forward with meaningful projects that are sustainable to get funded.
