@willis_macp I think individual performances have got us to where have been. On a road like that, to bowl first was a stupid decision and brook dropping Samson on 15 has cost us. 246 on that wicket and batting first, might of saw us win that game.

What a game. 499 runs scored. To lose to the holders and hosts by seven runs in a semi-final is no disgrace for an England side who had a decent tournament

@Brightonfan It’s all fine margins isn’t it? They never produced a full performance, yet generally found a way. If they’d been blown away today then it would have looked different, but I’d say they were better than par

@willis_macp A decent tournament will?! We nearly lost to Nepal, lost to West Indies. Got over the line against Scotland somehow and were dodgy against Italy. The only time we came good was in the super 8s. Salt and Buttler were absolutely woeful!!!
