Wow a Lutheran trying to play Muslim cosplay with “There is no God but Jesus, and Martin Luther is His prophet.” How original. How prophetic. Martin Luther was a narcissistic, excommunicated heretic who invented his own religion because he couldn’t handle celibacy or the Real Presence. He wasn’t a prophet; he was a schismatic clown who tore Christ’s Church in half and left you with a watered-down Bible and zero sacraments. Christ founded one visible Church on Peter the Rock (Mt 16:18), not on some German monk’s 95 gripes and a bad case of constipation. Your little Shahada parody is just Protestant cope dressed up as wit—blasphemous, stupid, and embarrassing. There is no “Lutheran prophet.” There’s only the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church that has outlasted every heretic since Pentecost.

@SDSLLC_USA Not eating from the tree of Knowledge of GOOD & EVIL is nowhere near intelectual knowledge. Your question is a strawmanning.

Why is the original sin attaining knowledge? And no, don't tell me because Adam and Eve disobeyed God. That's a copout answer. Were we made to be like animals? Why would God forbid us from attaining knowledge?

Isn’t it kind of telling on yourself that the second SCOTUS guts the Voting Rights Act and Alito claims “we’ve moved past racism” the VERY FIRST thing that happens is that all of the Southern States, of ALL places, rushes to eliminate any of their majority Black districts

@AnnaMorriss67 @athiestboi Virtue Ethics. This is what the OT teaches; moreover, the 10 Commandments implicitly deny that one can have slaves, but it was a reality that had to be dealt with. Scripture does this really unique thing by humanizing social groups that were sub-human.

@athiestboi This is a difficult topic because ur not wrong. I’m trying to understand it. Like why didn’t God abolish slavery instead of making rules for it? I think it was already an established practice and the Bible was giving rules to the slave owners not to treat them badly.

@RevBWarr What I am finding astonishing is that people do not understand that there are distinct differences between Christ and Holy Scripture but even though we can say that they are distinct, they both are the Word.

Strawmanning John 1? Now I have seen it all. No one worth their salt believes John 1 isn't refering to Jesus, especially not classical Protestants. But lying is in the nature of the East and papists, since they do as their father does.
Jacqueline Rose ☦️@TexasRose1836

The “Word of God” in John isn’t the Bible. That’s impossible. There was no New Testament canon yet. No bound Bibles. No 66 book King James Bible. John is describing Jesus Christ, not a book.

@ShamashAran I don't care for all the sadism in the comments. This guy should be killed by firing squad quickly and humanely, there's no reason to complicate things.

@joekent16jan19 And why have they taken 30 years to get to 60% enrichment? Oh that's right, the US and Israel have been making it very difficult for them to do so for the past 30 years.

According to Israel Iran has been on the brink of getting nuclear weapons for 30 years, they still don’t have them. The entire U.S. IC assessed Iran wasn’t seeking them & that Op Midnight Hammer had obliterated their enrichment capabilities. The nuclear weapons talking point is as played out as the moderate rebels myth. There’s no easy military solution to this mess, which is why we shouldn’t have let the Israelis walk us into it & we need to get out of it now.
Matt Tardio@angertab

Hmmm. Giving small arms to “moderate rebels”, or nuclear weapons to radical islamists… Wait, hasn’t Joe been advocating for negotiating with the “moderates” in the Iranian Regime?

can I ask what precisely you mean by the real presence? I've been reading stuff about Catholicism and can't figure out what people are quibbling about. do Catholics teach that the bread and the cup physically transform into flesh and blood every single time, only retaining the outward appearance of bread and wine? or that there is a spiritual real presence of the body and blood that is invoked, but the physical bread and wine are unchanged? growing up in Catholic PSR, I was not taught that they materially transform into physical flesh and blood. then, in highschool, people started telling me that's what Catholics actually believe. now I am finding like a 50/50 split

This is why I cannot believe the Holy Ghost leads Rome, the East, or their most ardent adherence. You can't lie (whether my omission or otherwise) this blazenly and claim to be in the true Church, led by the Spirit.
Garrett Ham@garrettham_esq

Most Protestants reject the Real Presence in the Eucharist as unbiblical. The Didache (~100 AD) teaches it. Ignatius (~110 AD) teaches it. Every Church Father who addressed it before the Reformation taught the same. They reject what the apostles' own students taught.

@MissJilianne Federal parks operate on tourism dollars, rather they need it. If you want Federal Parks, then pay, if not well say hello to data centers and corporate buildings.

I think it’s disgusting the United States charges $100 per person visiting our country to enter a National Park. Embarrassing too!
