The Atlanta Braves join the Phillies and Major League Baseball in mourning the lives lost in Israel and pray for the safe return of those who are missing. Our thoughts are with all who are impacted by the horrific violence.

After batting .354 with 16 RBI and producing a .815 OPS in 21 games for @YD_RedSox this summer, Will King has gone 9-for-27 with 5 RBI and has a .910 OPS in 10 games with @Braves Florida Complex League team.

Will King (@YD_RedSox | @EKUBaseball | '23) had three hits yesterday and is now hitting .361 for YD. The catcher hit .346/.427/.626 w/ 12 HR this spring and is one of the youngest eligible college players as he hasn't turned 20 yet. #PGCape

Cape League Scout Deck Spotlight: Will King (@EKUBaseball) has been a very consistent bat for the @YD_RedSox lineup. He has also done a great job behind the dish. He is 4th among all hitters in batting average at .327 and boasts a K% of less than 5%. King has been solid defensively as well. He’s thrown out 7 runners so far this summer. @willking16_ (@EKUBaseball) with a TOWERING blast for his first home run of the season as the @YD_RedSox extend their early lead, 3-0. King boasts a .302 batting average and has only struck out twice in his 44 at-bats this season. Now, he adds a homer to his impressive season.

@YD_RedSox win their third straight behind great pitching and incredible offense. I spoke with @willking16_ (@EKUBaseball) afterwards about his 2-4, 3 RBI day that fueled the Red Sox’s 5-2 win. He came into todays contest with 33 at-bats and zero strikeouts in 12 games played.
