Thread: (1/9) I've been in Dem politics for 14 yrs. I'm incredibly frustrated & disappointed at the lack of bold leadership, esp. when our hopes were so high after reclaiming the WH in 2020. I am angry. Most of my friends are furious.

This is ground Democrats should fight on. It's gun violence, not crime, stupid.

Smart strategists want to know why the facts on Build Back Better & the economy aren't compelling to voters. It's because we're not communicating them as part of a larger story. We're making intellectual arguments against what people are *feeling.* That is a losing strategy.
