A fantastic, memorable afternoon trip to Greenscombe Woods, Luckett, for Heath Fritillary. A count up by those present was around 70-80 with more males than females. What a day! @Cornwall_BC@savebutterflies
Utterly disgraceful and appalling behaviour by Trump and Vance - bullying him, talking loudly over him, not allowing him to speak, demanding gratitude, accusing him of dicing with WW3. Rarely has the world seen such undignified undiplomatic behaviour. independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…
@RobbieVincent Maze at Hammersmith, my best gig ever. 10 crowd only choruses of Joy and Pain and the band had to walk off to shut us up, but it didn’t work. We just kept going until they came back on. What a night what a band and what a voice. RIP Frankie, my all time favourite ❤️
Its with deep sadness that the death of the wonderful Frankie Beverley has today been confirmed by his family. He died yesterday leaving behind music and words that have touched generations around the world. Joy And Pain.
NEW: @ChrisGPackham demands @UKLabour act as new hunting report finds wildlife persecution still rife.
RT if you agree action needs to be taken to finally see an end to fox hunting.

@StephMurphy66 No Steph, luckily it’s on their list of rewilding sites and never gets cut. Butterfly numbers have been down as well this year so I think they are either late and still to show in same numbers as last year, or have suffered from the poor weather. 🙁
@willsocr They all look like Peacocks to me. I think when the larvae moult into their next instar, they emerge with lighter coloured spines, which turn black over time.
Hi @maxando Can you help me understand what I am looking at here please?
Seen on nettles on Exminster marsh whilst doing a butterfly survey. Initial thought was Peacock, but are there 2 or 3 species here in same tent or mix of instars? Thanks
@_sarahbutcher@eastdevon It’s a great spot for butterflies. I’ve seen 21 species. It’s a breeding site for Speckled Wood, Common Blue, Brown Argus, Orange Tip, Meadow Brown, Small, Copper, Large Skipper Gatekeeper and possibly others. Last years highlight was a Long tailed Blue. Great for Wasp Spiders to
Had a lovely 20 minutes exploring this Exmouth verge, managed by @eastdevon and monitored by the Exmouth Wildflower Wardens. Thank you to @willsocr for the heads-up about the SMO (at least, am assuming it is SMO, despite what my ID app says!)
@_sarahbutcher Hi Sarah, look what I just found on Jubilee Drive.
Southern Marsh I think 😀😀
I must go and see the Bee orchids soon, can you DM me the what 3 words please?

The Conservatives want £250m of overpaid carer allowances returned even if people only went a few pence over their allowance.
But they allow £14.9bn of PPE to be written off.
Like if you want the £250m to DWP written off
RT if you want the £14.9bn from Michelle Mone and co back
