I never understood how guys in their 40s would blow their lives up or off themselves. I get it now. All you do everyday is look after others. Always more requests. You're always pouring into the cup of work or family. No one ever pours into your cup. And nobody seems to care.

@ApplewhiteGames I taught new players how to play individually with the same exact scenario for each one of them. 1. a little exploration 2.a small role play encounter 3.a unwinnable combat encounter resulting in their death 4.a friendly nearby cleric raising them 5. greet each other in temple

What are your favorite alternatives to the classic "You meet in a tavern"?

@Role_Play_Chat Through their backstory or find out during play with targeted questions from npcs, who they love. Then when they have that realization, that becomes their hyperfocus. Do absolutely everything they can for their love, and if they are dead? Well there’s the twist

My party just picked up a cursed crown 👑 The thing is, I don’t know what the curse should be. It used to belong to a necromancer who was stuck perpetually trying to revive a dead devil. So maybe there’s that, but I’m not sold on it. Thoughts? Ideas? Favourite curses?

I finished the game and never figured out what was up with that weird ass cow. I think I talked to all the cats though! Well, a lot of cats anyway.

@benduchek @rArmyReddit He was 6’6” at least and old as the hills. We talked crap about his age and he took any crap we through at him. We had a dress whites inspection and when he came on deck he had at least five if not six rows! He was never given shit again by anyone on board!

@benduchek @rArmyReddit I was assigned to the USS GREY FF-1054 in the early 90’s. We were a reserve frigate and used to getting Vietnam Vets on weekends and during the summer but I will never forget the MS (cook) that was assigned as active before we decommissioned/1
