I’ve just been sent a video from Lamu. Relief food is being given out, and people are being asked to chant "TUTAM." & Thank Ruto And honestly, this should make every Kenyan angry. That food was bought using our taxes. It is not a gift. It is not charity. I’ve warned about this before: poverty, drought and hunger are being used as political tools. People are kept desperate, then fed just enough to demand loyalty. What makes it worse is that solutions exist. Boreholes can be drilled. Irrigation can be done. Drought areas don’t have to live like this. So when leaders choose handouts and slogans instead of permanent solutions, it’s a deliberate choice. This is exploitation. And we should not accept it. We should end this madness Relief food should never be used as a political tool or weapon
