Queen Square Teaching Images #7 Adult with cancer and an extra-axial tumour. Dural metastasis or incidental meningioma? 68Ga-Dotatate PET-CT shows uptake typical of meningiomas with somatostatin receptors. The patient is spared unnecessary biopsy / treatment. #FOAMed #RadRes

Good luck to pit band pal @jred9749 and everyone at Paddington the Musical for the @OlivierAwards today! I'll be watching on BBC2. The most technically demanding show I've seen? But totally flawless, and totally full of heart. Your show is ma-ma-marvellous in every way! 🐻

Queen Square Teaching Images #6 "Signs" not always specific. Middle cerebellar peduncle hyperintensity an example. Massive list of causes. This case - older adult with inherited tremor and ataxia (FXTAS - Fragile X-associated tremor/ataxia syndrome). #NeuroRad #RadRes #FOAMEd

Somehow, somehow, we’ve made it to 5 years old. Recently we’ve watched our first football match at AFC Wimbledon, pretended to be vets for the day at London Zoo, and eaten a LOT of Easter chocolate.

Starting Christina Applegate’s “You with the Sad Eyes”. I guess part of it is a patient’s journey with multiple sclerosis. But I thought she was great in Friends, Samantha Who?, and Dead to Me. Also a Tony Award Winner for Sweet Charity!

@Praveen38068318 Fair enough - here's the corresponding image from lower down with basal enhancement. Though as always we made the diagnosis on the basis of the patient, not the scan!

Queen Square Teaching Images #4 2 difficult things on 1 scan. Leptomeningeal enhancement (on the left, vs normal sulcal vascular enhancement on the right). Hydrocephalus (unexpectedly big ventricles vs small sulci in a child). Tuberculous meningitis. #FOAMed #MedEd #RadRes

February Broadway sight-reading. Corner of the Sky (Pippin). Classic Reed 1 part - a whole generous 4 seconds to flip between clarinet and flute.

Queen Square Teaching Images #3 Personal opinion - "quick sagittal to rule out cord compression" isn't a thing. It was done here (1st image), but axial T2 (2nd image) shows the problem. Subacute combined degeneration of dorsal columns from nitrous oxide use. #RadRes #FOAMed

My resident gave me this mug. It may be the nerdiest present I've ever received. It is fabulous. #NeuroRad

Queen Square Teaching Images #2 Dissection "with minimal luminal compromise" = tricky to spot on standard MR angiogram. Scan too early and the classic T1 hyperintensity of intramural thormbus may not be there. Bilateral dissections = "puppy dog sign". #RadEd #RadRes #FOAMrad
