We don’t honestly know the best approaches to rebuilding companies around AI agents, especially in ways that expand competitive advantage & augment existing human capabilities. Practical agents are merely months old. Experimentation (and productive failures) will be required.

Ik stel me als docent toch ernstige vragen bij de zin van een masterproef in de sociale wetenschappen met het veelvuldig gebruik van AI. Een masterproef evalueren nu is totaal anders dan 5 jaar geleden en toch is het format en de evaluatiecriteria nog identiek aan 5 jaar geleden.

@emollick What will we say 6 months from now on GPT5? I'm worried that as the models become so much better so fast , many human's AIQ keeps going down 😢.

Two years ago. No model had surpassed GPT-4 & it wasn’t clear that was possible. Now you can get better than GPT-4 level performance on open weights models running on consumer hardware, and the state of the art in LLMs is cheaper & faster and very much more capable than GPT-4.

@emollick Yup I feel the same way. Gemini is good but google assistant is still terrible...

Google AI Mode has gotten very useful when I wasn't looking. An iterative dialogue about search turns out to be surprisingly helpful for many kinds of search, and it is really fast.
