@AlSmith_tykemad It was always a pleasure to be in Alan’s company. He had a real zest for life and football, especially his beloved Barnsley. Heartfelt condolences to Kate, family and friends. Rest in peace mate.

For those who haven't heard, Alan passed away peacefully at 4.08 this afternoon. He was at peace and was ready to go. Thank you to everyone for all the love and support you have shown us both. Kate xx
