@LRH_Superfan I have noticed way more specific obscure academic works written in French and Italian get Spanish translations. I think beyond publishing houses it’s a University thing that bi-lingual professors do as busy work.

@y8_dotcom IG reels are “Guy TikTok”, it’s a faster way to share short form video because YT shorts never really took off. 4chan died off in peak popularity after late 2010s. Since then edgy internet stuff is mostly secluded to discord, twitter and IG reels.

@harharvestsun It used to be called Gender Identity Disorder (GID). But was updated in the early 2010s I recall. But DSM is literally Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders. Professionals often say “mental health condition” to reduce stigma.

@windows95ism I thought they weren't using the term disorder or illness anymore? regardless, my point is that the people who are against transitioning should be arguing that it isn't a mental condition and is just pure delusion if they had any sense

I've never understood "trans people are mentally ill". supposing it was a mental illness, if its symptoms are only effectively managed by transitioning why would that not be the prescription? if anything shouldn't they be arguing it's not a mental condition at all?

Restaurants are contractually prohibited from charging delivery app orders more so they just pump the apps full of coupons to compensate for the fact that the actual menu pricing has gotten insane
