A year later and the Haunt is stronger than ever, so for the anniversary we sent a donation in Alayna’s name to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue to help our furry friends in WNC. They sent us back this lovely note!

After Hurricane Helene closed down our shop for six weeks last fall, the incredible Magic artist Alayna Danner(@windrune) gifted us some canvas prints of some of her most popular card arts to help raise funds.

Lost my best friend today. His heart failure finally got him (8 years he survived with it). He gave the best fucking hugs. He really leaned in and curled around your neck. He kept my lap warm and heart full for so long. I love you Oliver.

It’s funny how people like you don’t realise that a shiny veneer isn’t what makes “Pixar quality”. It’s the creative decisions and intent that go into making something worth bringing to life. If you had animated this yourself. It would likely be terrible. Because this, at its core, is terrible. It’s a polished turd basically.

I created a million-dollar Pixar-quality short in just 8 days using AI. Workflow: nano banana + midjourney + seedance + kling 2.5 + Suno + Elevenlabs I also tested Sora 2…and the results were surprising (see below) Excited to finally share this! 🧵
