@Orion_UESC @Bungie Could we have a specific timeframe as well? I live in Korea and wish to be online when it truly matters; focus fire on a specific hour to really show how much players are out there, you know.

I really wanna show the people working on Destiny 2, how much we care about the game. I want the community to feel seen beyond social media, and through the game itself. I want to organize a small event. One day. Everyone logs in. Doesn’t matter what you do. Just log in.

If you are someone who is wanting D3 to happen please please please play D2 on June 9th, let Sony know that there is still a ton of people who are interested in the game. Sony needs to see real numbers and not just hypothetical "what ifs".

As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to. We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created.
