A great surprise this harvest. I am a finalist in the #BFA2025 Regenerative farmer of the year. Some amazing farmers and businesses from all over the UK are in the final, and we are looking forward to meeting them all at the awards in October.

Saturday morning going through some lambs 👌 while it rain’s outside

@RomanyHerefords @monitorfarms We are trying a Hereford over some of our Angus cows this year. I know the feeling haha

Taking a bit of getting used to😳🤣🙈 Suggestion from our @monitorfarms management grp was different breed of bull over some (22) less desirable cows for pedigree breeding & those that don't fit new system. Looking forward to seeing result. #monitorfarm26 #romanyherefords

Finished on a high although you never get a twin when you want one 😂 calving done and bulls back out with some #farm365

Sadly after 20+ years with a minimum of 3 pairs of Lapwings in this field, they are gone. Badger sets in the next field and all ground nesting birds have disappeared. We need to discuss this biodiversity loss before the poor birds are gone for good. @RSPBScotland @NFUStweets

Lovely to see some well needed rain but it does make more rounds on the quad less appealing 😂

One of the most satisfying jobs of the day is moving the fence for the cows in the morning 🌅

@bankhousefarm01 Haven’t had chance to measure it 🤫 however I’m quite pleased. 2t an acre of hen muck has helped

Rams all taken out yesterday afternoon, mostly back onto grass or hay apart from a handful of leaner ones which have started on wholecrop

Lovely view for the girls on the next wintering spot 👌 stoney ground ✅ however very open to the elements so a plan B might be needed
