Correct. It’s not about the $5 coffee. It’s about the fact that the government keeps adding more regulations and zoning requirements, which increases the cost of building new homes.
They do this because the largest voting demographic (baby boomers), who already own homes, benefit when home values continue rising year after year.
We have real-life examples. Austin, Texas, eased permitting and some restrictions, built a significant amount of new housing, and has seen lower rents and housing costs as a result.
The government is intentionally creating this problem by limiting supply, thus artificially inflating costs to pander to the largest voting demographic.

Bullets stop after hitting their targets, but cannon balls don't. They continue through the target, and bounce through ranks of men, maiming and killing by tearing off arms and legs. Truly horrific.

To demonstrate various examples of what does and doesn’t stop one of these bullets.
Shoot some steel, some concrete, some carcasses, some bone, some ballistics dummies.
Obviously these aren’t living human necks.
But we aren’t in first grade, you obviously realize that video demonstration of analogues are convincing- because that’s how so many people wound up not believing a .30-06 could penetrate a human neck. Because they watched a bunch of videos of them going through much stronger materials.
So you can keep using insults and appeals to authority to earn brownie points with the small cadre of people that already agree with you.
Or you could use video demonstrations to make me and everyone else like me look like idiots. If these bullets frequently stop in 6 inches of flesh, then surely you can demonstrate something even remotely similar to that on video for us.
But of course you can’t. So you use insults.

Investigators say a Fort Wayne man cut off his penis, lit it on fire and then used it to set his mom's garage on fire. Christopher Peden is charged with one count of Arson. Peden was arrested last week and his bond was set at $10,000. He has since posted that bond.
