A taxi driver I know, now has a council contract to transport 3 children from Bodmin to their school in Camborne, at £180 per day, because there "isn't any housing" for the mum in Camborne. Yet, 2 weeks ago, a house on my street became a HMO for several Africans. So a single mum, with 3 children, has now been housed in Bodmin, away from her support network and family, her children are being transported to school at a cost of £34k a year to the council, purely for transport. Let alone the £2000 a month for both her housing costs in Bodmin and then again for their housing costs in Camborne. Estimated total: ~£82,200 per year Utterly mental
